FAQs

  • Most of my clients are people dealing with difficult and traumatic experiences. I work with people who are seeking to recover from religious abuse and survivors of cults and other high-demand/control groups. I also enjoy working with people dealing with substance use concerns and a variety of mental health conditions. Find out more about my specialties here.

  • My approach is a balance between science and art. I am a passionate learner, always seeking to understand people and the world, and finding new ways to help those I serve. I also know that it doesn’t matter how much I know if my clients don’t feel seen, heard, valued, cared for, respected, and safe. Find out more about my unique style of doing therapy here.

  • I provide outpatient psychotherapy services to residents of Tennessee and work with teens (age 16+) and adults. Therapy with me is virtual, also called telehealth or remote therapy. Find out more about what I provide here.

  • I am a licensed professional counselor in Tennessee. I am a seasoned mental health professional and have been in the field since 2007. I’ve worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, substance use treatment programs, utilization review, private practice, as a clinical supervisor, and in education and advocacy at the national level. Find out more about my qualifications and professional experience here.

  • I do provide supervision for professional counselors working towards their licensure in Tennessee, and more information can be found here.
